1. Click on the "Settings" button on the left side.
2. Click on the "Auto Scans" tab.
3. In the "Safety" section, checkmark "Update Definitions File at startup."
4. Click on the "Save" button.

Scan your computer at least once a month:

Scan now

1. Click on the "Status" button in the upper left corner.
2. In the "System Scan" section, click on the "Scan Now" button.
3. I usually select "Full Scan."
4. When the scan is finished, you will be taken to the "Scan Results" page.
5. You will need to manually checkmark all items you want removed. On each tab, checkmark any item with a TAI of 3 or more.
6. Click on the "Remove" button.
7. Click on the "Finish" button in the bottom right corner.
